One-page summary

Daily Taoism does not collect any data about you. Nothing leaves your device.

What the app stores

The app stores on your device — and only on your device — the following:

• Your personal preferences (dark/light mode, reminder time, whether notifications are enabled)
• Your private journal: mood check-ins, practice marks, the one daily reflection line you choose to write
• The weekly "Dragon Letter" composed from your data

All this data is saved in the device's local UserDefaults. If you delete the app, the data is gone completely.

What the app does NOT do

• Does not require an account, login, or password
• Does not send data to any server — it does not use the internet at all after installation
• Does not use Analytics, tracking, or any third-party SDKs
• Does not display advertisements
• Does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or calendar

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, the app schedules it on the device itself through the iOS notification system. No remote server is involved. The notification fires even without internet.

Children

The app is not specifically directed at children under 13, and does not collect data from them (because it doesn't collect data from any user).

If this policy changes in the future, an updated version will appear here.
